We just can't believe it. The CDC is insistent on Shutting Down the Cruise Industry. Refusing to listen to cruise lines or budge in any way.

They have just released a brand new conditional sail order update for the cruise industry, the first time in almost 6 months and it's not great, it's just insane. It doesn't look like cruise will resume any time soon. We bring you all this breaking cruise news as well as some alternatives of where you can actually book cruises now.

I plan to contact my representatives in Congress and let them know these new guidelines are unacceptable -- others in the USA should too! Congress has the power to check the CDC if they're out of step. Trying to find solutions here..

This is insane, but at the same time we can travel now within the US fully vaccinated and that means all airlines are now back to full flights. Guess we will have to fly out to cruise

Well guys my wife and I are just about done with cruises. We are buying a 46 foot (14 meters) Sailing Catamaran and will be living the cruiser life style 24/7/365 touring the world.

It’s very frustrating to hear what the CDC is doing. My family and I just booked a cruise out of New Orleans for January 2022. Goodness I hope this is sorted out. I will write to my senator!

Thanks for a good update on something that has gone SO terribly wrong for us in the US. If the world hasn't seen that the CDC is completely against cruises before now, surely they have a clear idea after this update. We're simply shaking our heads over here. Where is the science behind the 12-hour period??? I think they pulled that one out of their "arse." And after reading their expectations for the crew onboard (must have solo cabins with private bathrooms, confined to their cabins except for work hours), I can't imagine crew will be excited to work on those ships. Again, just shaking our heads here...

There’s significant push back against requiring vaccination and even more push back on the idea of any sort of vaccine registry or database. I think that’s a significant hurdle to restarting. We may be stuck until ppl’s attitudes change.

What about the crew of the this ships. The are waiting and some of them have no work and there money is running out. They must support they families. CDC don't think of all the crew of the ships who stand still. But trains, airplanes and rest can go on. The crew don't get money to support their families and some of the country where they come from there is no work for them. So CDC think about the crew. We need to work and support our families.
