second empty row comes from first debugging, Look at the time stamp of that empty row it is 4 minutes before you enter last entry.

very interesting and helpful practice, but i think we need to check the firstname and the lastname variables not just for null value, also for empty string maybe using firstname.length() != 0 ;
other wise we will get empty values in our database if the submit button pushed with empty strings in the text inputs
