*NOTE*
The dragon breath stops lowering his health after his second phase.
So once you get to his second phase, simply hit him again with the dragon breath and it should lower again. Stay as far away as you can’t and let the breath do it’s magic.

Most annoying part about using this strat is that he's designed to agro on you even though he's being attacked by other summons because you're meant to summon a literal army to defeat him. He'll interrupt your attack quite a bit and you need to complete the animation to do any rot dmg over time.

So here's another tip:
U don't have to fight his phase 2 when he disappears go to the right side of the map right to edge and wait for him to come down like a meteor he will just fall off the map and u will get his achievement

Dude using the rot while i am standing over here with my level 13 longbow still gets the job done but i think making him rot works faster

I just realized he summons a horse which is 2 small for him

As of 01/28/24 this still works!
I was able to cheese him the entire time using the unupgraded longbow from the twin maidens. 99 poison and 99 normal bone arrows overdid it but was super cheap.

Tip use radahn tailman to get it off quicker before he just wipes the sand with you blood over and over and over

Honestly the first time I beat him he was ridiculously hard like it took me a long time to beat him. I finished the game and put it down for a year and started a new run and heard they nerfed him but I had idea how bad, I ended up beating him while only healing once, it’s not even the same fight anymore.

I just ping him with arrows on Torrent & summon as need be. I feel sorry for his mount having to cart that big lump around you’d think he would share some of his cycle with the horse.

I just used the claws that have bleed and fused it with the poison grease then I summed all the CPU’Sin short words I just jumped radan

I cant seem to summon any of my ashes for this fight, i have rotten stray dog that gives opponents rot but i can’t summon him

Its feaking hilarious because i was dumbfounded at how easy it is to kill him. Because his attacks do so much damage i was trying to keep my distance from him while letting the others get close while i stayed back and shot magic at him from afar. I tried this i dont know how many times with no success. It had to have been God himself who spoke to me saying try your katanas and try the aggressive route. So i did i used moonveil and the uchigtana dual weilding and was amazed how fast his health was going down.

Also don’t use other spells it actually will cancel that out for the whole battle

Did the same and it took me about 50 business days to defeat him

I did that with the magma wyrm and had to rott him twice cuz the rot effect stopped at half of his health.
