Tom Baker is, and will ALWAYS be, my favorite Doctor. I mean, who else could deliver the Doctor's lines and ask if you wanted a jelly baby and make it one of the most memorable things you'd ever seen in any sort of film? Lol

Tom is my introduction to the Dr Who Universe! I had no idea who he was or what the show was about as a kid. I thought I'll give it a go and was hooked 15 minutes into the show! LOL! Tom is fantastic.

Tom may have not been The Doctor when I was a kid (I grew up on Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy) but he is my Doctor, my favourite Doctor. His first season with Sarah Jane is amazing and when Louise Jameson comes in as Leela it gave me some of my favourite episodes (Robots of Death and Talons of Weng Chiang) I hope to meet him soon and tell him how much better his Doctor made my life ❤ such an amazing guy!

Before the Mandela effect began in 2011 or so, Tom Baker was the fifth Doctor Who. I knew this all my life. Today, just now, in 2025, is the first time I ever heard him referred to as the fourth and I’m just as stunned as when I learned that Ed McMahon never made the Publisher’s Clearing House commercials, in this reality, which I watched for years and years, when I was younger, along with hundreds of millions of others.

We finally got a TV just in time for Jon Pertwee's last series, Planet of the Spiders. I deliberately didn't watch it knowing it would have given me nightmares. Then I found out afterwards it was Jon Pertwee's last episodes of Dr Who and I was heartbroken - he was just so brilliant as Dr Who. So when the next episode showed and it was Tom Baker, I hated him on principle, because he wasn't Jon Pertwee. That didn't last long though, and he was my last ever favourite doctor. He is just lovable.

Tom Baker is probably one of the best actors who has ever played The Doctor. My favorite is still Tennant though.
