Finally, someone who didn’t totally trash this phone and actually understands that not everyone needs or cares about all the latest features. I bought one of these on launch day and it is the perfect phone for me. I love the weight and super clean look. I also never used MagSafe or UWB on my previous phone, so I couldn’t care less about those features.

If this had MagSafe and was $100 cheaper, it would be a home run. I don’t care about dynamic island I think it’s actually annoying. I don’t care about the camera control. It’s a complete disaster. I don’t care about Ultra Wide. The pictures always look distorted so I never use it. I really love the clean, simple one camera with no camera bump look on this phone! So I would totally have gone for this if it had MagSafe and was cheaper. But I guess that’s the greedy brilliance of Apple. Because they don’t want me to buy this they want me to spend more money so that’s why they didn’t give me the two critical things I would ask for.

If it had been available in October when I upgraded my regular 13 for a 16 pro, I probably would’ve been too tempted by the price difference, and gone for the 16e, and feel great about my choice, and I say this as a tech enthusiast and as a lover of my 16 Pro😂

2:00 it's new. Is a new, exclussive sensor to the 16e. Is smaller than what we had on the 15 and the quality difference is pretty obvious, especialy in low light

Great video Nick, it’s mostly the tech reviewers and influencers who are convincing the average person that this phone is bad, even though in reality it’s a good phone, they’re just spoiled by pro features despite this phone not being for them. I was just telling my boss about this phone today, she wants to upgrade from the iPhone 12.
