‘Quite unprecedented’: NSW Liberals embroiled in ‘factional brutalism’

The Australian’s Max Maddison says it is “quite remarkable” the NSW Liberal Party has voted in favour of bringing in federal intervention, as the party’s pre-selection woes drag on.

Mr Maddison said Tony Abbott’s Warringah motion, which requires plebiscites for every seat, was an attempt to end “this kind of factional brutalism”.
