So if anyone wants to do this at home here is how I used to it:

Melt gummies in a pan, not the microwave. Bloom a small amount of gelatin in some water (I think I used 1/4 of a packet per 100g of gummies but it's been about a decade), mix that into the melted gummy mixture and this will keep it from falling apart like his is doing in the video. When you melt a gummy candy it throws off the amount of firmness it has, and this will even things out. Then basically finish the same way he does.

If you want to make this a medicated adult snack, simply melt in some decarbed oil during the gelatin stage and you have a fun treat. Just make sure you incorporate it well otherwise you can be left with a strip of raw oil.
