This was very interesting connecting history with genetics. There had been a rumor in my family that we had at least one person who was Native American in our family tree but no one could find proof. When I got my 2 3 and me back and a very small percentage of my DNA had Native American ancestry and it was further back than I would have thought. My ancestry was primarily English, Irish, French and some other European groups with a high number of Neanderthal.
