Ok... hear me out. This song. Coming of age movie. The main character is at their lowest point. They're running through the rain in the city at night sobbing. They are filled with so much sadness and anger and disappointment. Eventually they run onto a bridge and slam their body against the railing. Then, just as the song says "I see" and the beat drops they scream into the darkness of the night, only illuminated by the hundreds of city buildings across the river.

Sorry, getting real for a second but this song hit me hard.
Ive been going through a very harsh couple of months this past year. From losing my best friend, breaking up with the girl that i was planning to marry, losing all my passions, being diagnosed with a very shitty autoimmune disease, dropping out of university and losing all hope in my future and its plans due to said disease. Life has handed me these cards and ive been doing all i can to stay afloat. I've been feeling lost and alone for a long time now and this song felt like it touched all the subjects that mean something to me. It felt very personal.. But, at the same time it gives me hope to try and turn, and imagine it into a major song. It really is a beautiful piece, and i wouldn't change a thing. But, ill change its meaning for me in my head to make it better, to get better, to look back to this song and reflect on it with the good.
