We NEED an Official Maplestory Classic Server

This is seriously a huge opportunity for maplestory to get a bunch of their old players back and even new ones to experience how it was back then. Especially being able to experience the grind with tons of players and friends rather than an empty solo experience which is the current maplestory.

God I would absolutely love to have my original fire wizard and cleric back 😭 the maple story today is so bad. Every class is the same thing, it’s all soloing and just boring.

100% used to play 20 years ago on release for 2/3 years. Tried to come back like 6 months ago but theres SO MUCH going on now.. Same as wow its too much. We need original barebones for us oldheads. Miss my Snowboard

i miss it so much man...
i played classic wow & hardcore & it was the most fun ive had in an mmo since i was a kid. i would even LOVE a classic hardcore ver of maple, it would be amazing man imagine

hope this gets more views, private servers have thrived for over 10 years now. 10 years ago, Royals defined my experience as a kid and improved upon it without breaking the immersion of what i remembered the most fondly. sitting on a gold mine.

Old School Runescape is 4x-5x more popular then the retail game (if you compare player count right now as I write this 103k in old school runescape vs 14k on runescape 3). Mapleroyals and other private servers have thrived because of nexons inaction. They could of made millions during the pandemic if they released it. I've played both old school runescape and wow classic without playing their main games in 10+ years. I would 100% play a classic maplestory server that has been long overdue. Nexon just isn't a great company.

100% there would be a massive influx of old players coming back to Maple if they did an official Maplestory Classic. I would play on the private servers but their files are riddled with Malware and Trojans so I'm not willing to compromise my PC for a nostalgia hit! My only option is to wait for a genuine classic server.

I hope nexon works with the guy owning the Maplestory Phoenix server actually, since its the only server offering the true 1x ratio authentic experience on the market.

The main issue with the current Maplestory is that levels 1-200 have a good amount of content but those levels are basically 95% pointless and levels 200+ have a severe lack of content aside from doing dailies/bossing. Back in the classic days the game had a better spread of content, yes the later levels were bad too in the old days and that was being fixed way to slowly but it at least in my eyes was less of an issue back in the day.

The current Maple community hates the idea of classic maple more than OSRS players hate what has become of RS3. I'd no life the sht out of maple classic.
