Im an s2 user as of now and something else worth mentioning is there is no continued support for the s2 and yes it updated to nougat but it runs buggy and they will not release another. the new updates that will be released in the near future alone is worth the upgrade to the s3 to me. The quad speakers processor and pen are just bonuses. I'll still keep my s2 as a backup or for when the battery dies.

I'm going to get the s2. I don't like glass on the back and won't be using a keyboard so it seems clear to me that for me personally it's not worth the extra for the s3

Excellent presentation man! I've been using the S-Pen since the Note 2. People compare it to the Apple Pencil which is infuriating... Bluetooth doesn't hold a candle to the magnetic field projection that the S-Pen takes advantage of. I've used my Tab S2 everyday for the past 2 years, but I'm gonna upgrade just to get that pen in my hand. Thanks for the video and keep up the good work!

Love the review and comparison! Beautifully produced. While S3 is certainly an upgrade, the S2 is now much less expensive.

I recently bought an Open-Box Galaxy Tab S2 Nook 8.0 for $165 in minty-mint condition. It's a great tablet. I was originally in the market for an iPad Mini 4 128gb, on sale at Walmart for $299 plus tax. Apple still has it for $399. But the $165 was too compelling.

The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 has been fantastic. It is blazing fast, has a sharp, colorful Super Amoled display, ultra-light and very durable. For me, the 8.0 size is the perfect tablet form factor. It does take longer to charge using the supplied power supply, but I use my Anker fast charger. Perfect!

Nice review, thanks, but at 10:30min you got the Geekbench results the wrong way round saying the S2 is better performing than the S3 ;)

I have the Tab S2, and I gotta say, it's amazing!

I got it for Christmas, and it does all the things I need, but way better than the iPad 2 (not Air 2) had done them. No more 480p video, no more slow Wi-Fi, no more lagginess, just a smooth, nice experience.

But, if you are an artist or college student, then the Tab S3 might be for you, with its S-Pen and beefier specifications.

Thorough review of features, so thanks. Just ordered a new s2 for $250 from an Ebay vendor to replace a Nexus 7 with failed usb connector. The s3 looks a great tab, but $$$ more than I want to spend on tablet.
