I AM BACK AT MY BEACH HOME IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Yup, I have quickly travelled back to Cateel, Davao Oriental. This will only be a short trip to get my motor and have it shipped up to Manila. But, I am so grateful to have the chance to catch up with Mama Rose, do a few beach home errands, and just enjoy a quick dose of Philippines Province Life! In this video, not only do we enjoy eating a native durian with Mama Rose (our Filipina beach home mom), but I end up finding a new waterfall to swim in... and it is a beauty!

I love the seeing the province life with all the beautiful beaches, waterfalls and mountains. The BGC hurts my eyes because it’s just like cities here. My goodness, your Davao home is stunning with scenery. Honestly, I hope you can last in BGC after the beauty you're used to. I know that even after 5 years in Singapore, I still miss my Capiz home. It's nice to see Mama Rose again. Her hairdo looks fabulous! Kulas, if you come to Hawaii you will discover a dish called laulau. It's a Hawaiian food that is made with taro (gabi) leaves too. The Hawaiians wrap pork and a piece of fish seasoned with sea salt in the leaves and steam it for hours. It is delicious! They have been wrapping meat and fish in taro leave all over Polynesia for hundreds of years.
