I wrote this because each of us has our own style and something that makes us who WE are. We each have a story and we get to express our story with what we do, how we dress, and who we are. Everything about us and how we portray ourselves make up our story. I wanted to share this song because it gets hard when people tell us to be this or that, with pressure saying we won't be good enough if we aren't a certain way. But the truth is, we are perfectly imperfect. We should embrace what makes us US. Our authenticity is what makes us unique. If someone doesn't like who we are, then they aren't real friends. I LOVE BEING and OMG this remake version of YOUR "Authenticity" song is just the aaaahhhh I've always loved the old Authencity song which sounds like High School Musical kind of songs (and I loooove HSM of course!) and now to listen to this It just gets soooo beautiful and speaks our heart even more!
