Presidents Song (1-46)

Показать описание
Has been used with 4th and 5th graders: I do four presidents at a time: show one president slide first (no music), explain what the lyrics mean (give history) and what the pictures are, and teach that part of the song only. Then do the second, third, and fourth presidents the same way, then review all together with the music. The next day we do the same, adding four more presidents, then sing all eight together, etc. (I’ve also done only two presidents at a time.) This is a very effective way for them to learn the song. By the end, they have it memorized. Once you teach the whole song, just review it every few days and they will really know it well. Note: These students were in my regular classroom for the year, not music class, or a choir, and no auditions, so any student can learn this.
