I still can't get over the fact that Mike happened to pick "scared of horses" as a character trait without knowing what the reveal would be. Just so perfect.

Andy didnt overplan, he was professionally prepared, and made it a great game to watch.

Andy keeping Nate "alive" instead of dying to a heart attack I think shows he's a natural in making a well fleshed out story/characters.

I just realized, each of the party avoided the nature of the horsemen Victoria assigned them in their individual battles.

Silas makes a mockery of the duel by shooting Bellows in the dick, avoiding the ruthlessness of War.

Nate overpowers his possession by refusing to bring Death to someone.

Delacey's part in his dual encounter with Nate is him surrendering and not fighting back, the antithesis of Conquest.

Edie refuses to cling to the fading memory of her brother when she realizes it isn't him, ending the fight quickly rather than pretend for a while. (She was a stretch for Pestilence anyway)

And Garnet ignored the absence of magic and fought straight-on with her gun, even though she had a way to refill it. Victoria had assigned her Famine because of a perceived obsession with that magic.

It obviously wasn't intentional, but it's still a cool narrative perspective I thought of.

Andy had about half a dozen stellar characters for the universe. I think he really outdid himself with the characterization of his NPCs and his world building. Great job, mate!

When Nate first died, my first thought was, "ok, Johnny has come in to die so they can establish that there is legitimate threat of death"
Did not expect him to come back

Barely 5 minutes in and already enjoying Johnny's "Thats what we call karma" face.

Loving this Q and A and breakdown after the session, would be great to see more after each season of Oxventure/Blades and other series that might come up

I did not spot the four horsemen story line and found that an extremely satisfying twist at the end. Well played Andy!

So good. I love the intersection of wild west and horror in Andy's cultural references. Love the hospital being In the Mouth of Madness. Missed Harker being Croneberg in Nightbreed, but that is such a choice reference

Andy, for a 1st time GM, you did good. And while they say “oh the worst thing is over-preparing!” A) they never define what extent is over-preparing. B) it is better that you have things that you do not use this time that can use elsewhere
Also good on you Luke for Roleplaying well and NOT looking at the sessions you were not a part and not looking at fan theories

They really should do a season two with the series it was so good. Not sure how they would do a season two but I'm sure they could figure it out

Johnny saying that they don't need to plan an alternate choice because the Oxventurers allways choose the worst possibility made me laugh so hard!!! What an ending to this stream! It was perfection!!!!
