Welll. If the supply chain is getting back on its feet Intel will not be able to compete, bc of higher labour costs. This also doesn't solve the problem of the trend that companys are developing proprietary soc's and chips and the transitioning to arm architecture. To me it looks like a desperate bet unlikely to succeed. Maybe it'll pay off, if the supply chain keeps being disrupted and they succeed in r&d

with so many iot things and emerging 5g and 6g in this decade, more devices need chips even if it's above 3-6nm..so anything with 22nm, 14nm, 10nm ae all welcomed as not many of those things need newest one but a working one
