I am sooo sorry for the loss of your mom! Thank you so much for sharing her story and the Jewish traditions! I am a nurse at a long term care facility and I have seen first hand what Covid has done both physically and emotionally. It is terrible. Yes, wear a mask! I have now received both vaccines and so have the resident at my facility, am so grateful for that. I love the cats in the rain pattern. I just bought a HAED with a is called Cranky inch worm. It is so colorful, that is what drew me to this pattern. Keep stitching!!

I'm so sorry about loosing your mom. I lost my mom 2 weeks ago today, but not COVID. The funeral was Saturday and she will be buried on Wednesday with my Dad. They were married over 60 years when he died...they are now together. We brought mom Dunkin Donuts.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my mom a year ago last September and I miss her every day. Her nickname was The Mouse because she was very small and scurried from place to place always seeming to be in a hurry to get where she was going, lol. I have found lately that I am drawn to stitch projects featuring mice. I take comfort in stitching those things that remind me of her and I try to stitch each stitch while remembering everything that made her who she was. I hope you find comfort in those familiar things that bring back loving memories of your mom and the special place she will always hold in your heart.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I appreciate that you took the time to share her life and her last days with us. As well, the Jewish religion and traditions that your family chose to follow and those that were not as critical to follow. With your Mom's acceptance of a few changes made it ok, I especially like the rose bush idea... what a wonderful way to keep her memory alive.
