At the Plovdiv City Council the honoured guests were shown the famous golden treasure, weighing 11 kilograms of pure gold, found in Bulgaria several years ago and known the world over by expert archaeologist as the "PANAGYOURI-SHTE TREASURE".
DEMIREL visited first the biggest electric power station in Bulgaria-the Varna thermoelectric station, producing 630 megawatts.
In the afternoon the delegation visited the "GEORGE DIMITROV" dockyards, where are being built many ships on foreign commands, some of them up to 23,500 tons.
The Premier Minster of Turkey SULEYMAN DEMIREL visited the Bulgarian resort complex "the GOLDEN SANDS" on the fourth day of his official visit in Bulgaria. He was accompanied by his wife, and many Turkish high officials and he did not want to miss the opportunity of attending the famous Black sea resort being in Varna, only 18 kilometres away.
The Turkish Premier Minister showed great interest in the rapid development of international tourism in Bulgaria and stated, that there exists a special interest of mutual profit between Bulgaria & Turkey for establishing narrow contact on the matter of international tourism, being good and friendly neighbour.
The honoured guests visited the night club "VODENITZATA" (THE MILL), reputed for its folkloric decoration.
