well, it kinda confirms that this door is indeed one of the entrance to Khaenri'ah, or the door from which all the archons entered the nation because,
1. The symbol on the gate is what Halfdan wore on his chest.
2. The statues near It literally resemble the black serpent knights/shadowy husks that we meet in the chasm.
3. This area was said to be one of the main rifts through which the abyssal monsters invaded the surface and since the rift is connected to this door, it's highly likely that the monsters used to this gate to exit Khaenri'ah and reach the surface and if they did, this makes this door one of the direct entrances to Khaenri'ah.
4. Kaeya says It is somewhere under sumeru.
ofc I may be wrong but that's what comes up when you have to wait years for it to open up.

Idk if the lift mechanism was built by them or after them, but I can't Imagine monsters taking turns of the lift to reach the surface lmao.

it's crazy how Hoyoverse simply dropped the gates to Khaenri'ah like this on patch 3 and we're still so far away to reach Snezhnaya but already got to see the future entrance to Khaenri'ah.

I hope that the devs when they make Khaenri'ah that there will be a section that is a complete wasteland of destruction and electrical energy just like Seirai Island as this would be the location that Raiden Makoto died.

For anyone that can't climb the branches or do the bug, just climb the walls on the right side. Glide to the walls on the right, climb up and you should be fine a foothold. Then walk forward in the direction of the door
