I miss my Pixel 5, but because in my country Google doesn't provide support for 5G and VoLTE (WiFi calling also) I had to sell it. Now I'm using Galaxy S21 which is not bad, but I prefer the Pixel experience.

Hello Emad! I just found a new change in android (I didn't notice it before but maybe it's not as new, though I'm on A13 Beta 2.1 now, Pixel 6) — a new flying animation when quick accessing the camera app. Before it used to just pop outta nowhere but now it flies right out of the power button, which looks so much better!

Edit: Just tested, it only shows the new animation on the lock screen, which is weird, but maybe it's just a bug and later it will appear no matter how to access the shortcut

The biggest problem with Android is it has to make changes while keeping very low-end devices in mind. Because of that, it cannot take advantage of modern powerful devices. Apple doesn't bother to make transitions more aesthetic as they have only flagship devices to take care of.

In fact, all we are asking Google is to copy the management of the keyboard cursor from Apple, Samsung and SwiftKey and to allow the removal of the At glance widget and the Google search bar at the bottom 🤧🚶🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍♂️

Could you cover the Google apps that still don't have Adaptive Icons in 2022? Assitant and YT Studio are some of the big ones. Also Google Podcasts has two instances, one for browsing and one for playing audio. I believe the one that plays audio is the one that doesn't have an Adaptive Icon.

I'd also read that this beta would fix Android Auto bug, but I can confirm that I am still getting the bug where once you unplug from Android Auto and you unlock your phone it just goes to a black screen. I have to reboot my phone before it goes back to normal after I unplug from Android Auto.

I have the Pixel 6. I had to leave the Android 13 beta program . Android 13 Beta 2.1 has a critical bug causing my Pixel 6 to blackout . The brightness for some odd reason would automatically go down to 0%. Totally unacceptable . When the screen got black outed. It took several minutes to touch my phone to find brightness control to slide the brightness up. Basically finding the brightness slider in the dark
