If anyone of you believes that human beings use only 10% of their brain, let me tell you that it's nothing more than a myth. Double tap on the screen and let's understand how much brain you use.
Misrepresentation and misquoting of a statement by the American philosopher William James gave birth to this '10% brain use' theory. However, functional MRI and PET scans performed by neurologist professor Barry Gordon indicated that every part of the brain was active.
Alongside this, a tiny electrode was inserted in the brain to observe the activities of brain cells, which showed that all the cells of the brain were functional. It's obvious that if we would have been using only 10% of our brain, the rest 90% of brain cells must have been inactive. Based on these experiments, Doctor Barry Gordon claimed that human beings use 100% of their brain.
Now if you ask why everyone of us can't become Dr. Abdul Kalam, let me tell you that in some people, the internal connections of the brain and the parts that process the information show more development when compared that with the brain of a normal human, which makes those genius people boom in a particular sector.

For example, Stand completely still. Your whole body is active, now start moving your hand in to and fro moment. Now, only your hand is working. Same goes on for brain. 100% is active, but you are using >10%. All the neurons are active but the only neurons in use are below 10%.
