I Made GIZMO From A Block Of Aluminum! Metal Casting Gremlins

In this video I will be casting Gizmo from the movie Gremlins. I started by 3D printing Gizmo using polycast filament. I then added the wax sprue's and made a mold of him using investment plaster. The plaster mold was then placed in the kiln to melt out all of the wax. I melted down an ingot block of aluminum and poured the molten metal into the mold. After the aluminum solidified, I removed the solid aluminum gizmo and cut off all the sprue's. I then fixed some imperfections by hand with my rotary tool. I hope you've got a couple of weld spots on the baseplate and the tube. If you do get a breakthrough, the pressure and heat of the metal can cause the pure siilcone seal to break, and the metal to lift up the tube itself. If they're tacked and covered over with silicone (inside coat cant' hurt too lol) then you're safer. With how big you've made yours, it's more of an essential safety tip lol They cut off with an anglegrinder in hallf a second, but save you from puddlle of fun xD

do not feed them after midnight, keep them away from water, no sunlight.
