Yuna and Yuzuru already had irreproachable technique when they left their former coaches to learn from Brian. He merely polished and ironed out the edges to reveal the diamonds within.

I see some people got offended by this video because the boy is 13, he needs more time to improve etc etc. (True that) But makes me sad a little bit when they don't defend the russian girls like this boy just because the bad reputation coach they have and they actually are the ones who get more hate and with them you dont complain over those videos on the contrary...

I’ve heard that Brian hasn’t worked on Stephen’s jumps for like a year and Lee does instead. I mean it makes sense because of Gabby’s flutz but idk lol

Quite honestly, Javier doesn't have the good take off skills on his both flip and lutz jumps as well. Both of the jumps are flat edges and full blade take-off.

flutz can be fixed... Patrick chan had a very bad flutz early in his career (c. 2006-7), but he ended his career having a wonderful and obvious outside edge lutz. I fixed my lutz when I tapped my free toe on the outer side of my skating foot so that I could be 1000% sure I was on an outside edge. Once I knew what that felt like, I could tap my toepick behind my skating leg. The tracing should look like a slight question mark.
