Holy Priest 9.2.5 M+ Healer Guide - jack of no trades, MASTER OF ALL

Shadowlands 9.2.5 Holy Paladin mythic+ guide to make you show people tha the healer's are the ones carrying. Holy Priest is currently the most powerful healer in the Mythic Plus meta and there's a good reason. Holy Priest can deal extreme amounts of damage and whip out seemingly unlimited healing throughput at a moment's notice. Don't let that fool you though, this guide might make Holy seem easy but there is a lot master but it's up to you to find it yourself. Best of luck!

You might be seeing a lot of Holy Priests in Season 4 running Night Fae instead of Kyrian. This is really only applicable to pushing higher keys, Kyrian still beats it in just unplanned, random pugs. Night Fae gives classes CDR, which is nice because we all lost Urh relic, so when playing a night fae holy priest be ready to have a conversation with your group about which DPS gets Power Infusion, and then which DPS gets the Benevolent Fairies. Or which 2 dps you have to juggle benevolent fairies between.

TL;DR I still recommend Kyrian in season 4, if you're incredibly scared or pushing keys super high for a certain dungeon you can run night fae but be prepared for lots of social interaction amongst the team mid-key.

Great content. Not every guide has DPS rotation with examples I liked that you added that.

Just made my priest today with DF character boost. First time playing holy since legion, the spec is dumb broke and I don’t even have any tier. With 239 ilevel, not playing my leggo correctly (thought it buffed flash heal and not heal so I never pressed heal) I have a 13 key sitting after pushing it up from 2 without feeling much healing pressure. I can only imagine how monstrous it is with optimal gear.

As a Warlock main, who is just dipping toes into learning to heal as a holy priest. I can just say I make the whole PI conversation easy. I just tell the healer it is their buff, use it how ever they want to. It isn't the end of the world if I don't get it. I don't need it as Demonology, but it is really good when cool downs line up with it. But that is just a part of the problem. As a new priest, I'll just admit I have barely engaged the button as I have been trying to learn everything else that is more important. Like trying to keep flash heal up with a good group is awful! All I'm doing is casting flash heal in low keys while the DH tank out heals me. Which I'm sure a lot of people would love. But I'm afraid I will get into a bad habit of dps'ing instead of healing and when it goes bad, I'll be caught off guard.

In your video you say take Prayer of Healing off your bar completely, while I agree the healing for it is.. dismal for the mana %. I do like that basically 1 PoH after a Sanctify then Chastise into another PoH gives you sanctify back which is massive for AoE healing situations that everyone is grouped. Or am I being less efficient and should just be heal spamming with Serenity and actually not worrying about getting Sanctify off CD quickly?

Hey IVIV. Great guide. I actually just started playing wow again. Been gone since Legion. Anyways, I wanted a healer since I’ve always healed and things have changed a lot since last I played. My question is, I just boosted to 60 and with some AH crafted gear I’m around 220ilvl but I have no set or other things including legendaries. My healing is pretty low now when I get into a dungeon. I assume it’s because I’m boosted and haven’t done the covenant campaign. I am Haste+vers. I was just curious if I’m doing something wrong or it’s just me not having anything. I think my covenant renown is like 5-6

Hey IVIV, I just started with holy priest and trying to understand and learn all spells and their place. Your guide really helped me but I missed one spell you haven’t mentioned - Power Word: Shield.
Is there any place for it ever in thr rotation or can I unbind it as Renew + Prayer of Healing and be fine without ever casting it? Thank you!
