George Foreman suffered only his second professional defeat when he lost to Jimmy Young in a boxing match in Puerto Rico in 1977. In his locker room after the match, George had a deeply religious experience that changed his life forever. Even though George was a top contender to regain the heavyweight title, he retired from boxing, at the age of 28, to serve the Lord. George became an ordained minister and has been preaching at The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ since 1980.

I meant George Foreman restaurant about 10 years ago. I didn’t want to go up to him, but I was staring at him whenever I could while I was eating. I know he could feel it because I was such a huge fan. I’m not the person that would bother anybody though. I was just thought it was so cool that he was there. finally he was finished eating and he was leaving. He left and I said damn that was unbelievable. I got to see George Foreman. I pay for my food and walked out the front door. He was waiting outside in front of his car. And he said come here son. And he looked mad. He said I saw you staring at me back there. He said you want to dance. And he put his hands up. I life flash before my eyes. Before I got time to get scared, he started laughing and gave me a hug. he is one of the greatest humblest nicest people I ever met. He did not have to do that. After he ate his food, he waited for 15 minutes outside for me to come outside. Before I left, I said to him why would you wait out here for a nobody fan just to say hi. he told me two things on the god eyes there are no bodies. Everybody is equal. And then he said be nice to everybody on the way up because you might meet them on the way down. What a guy

George, I had a similar experience of being snatched out of my body. It happened while I was in prison making plans to kill another inmate. I was suddenly standing behind my body, watching the physical me looking out of the window making my plans. God showed me my life and I made a vow in that cell that I would never be in another jail. And since that time, 50+ years ago, I haven’t. I later became a minister in order to fulfill the prophecies that have been spoken over my life.
