Elgar - Salut d'Amour (piano solo)

Sir Edward Elgar (1857 – 1934) was an English composer. Although Elgar is often regarded as a typically English composer, most of his musical influences were not from England but from continental Europe.

The piano solo transcription of Elgar's famous "Love's Greeting" by August Fraemcke. I prefer it in a slower, more tenderly flowing tempo.

wow, this is so beautiful. I think the tempo you chose, and the tenderness of your approach gives the feeling of a more mature love. I'm trying to find a tempo like this performance on Spotify for a playlist, but it doesn't exist. My only bad thing to say is that this isn't on Spotify. It comforted me during the first few weeks of COVID-19 in the States and has stuck with me as a comforting song. Thank you.
