Saw a baby snow leopard at the zoo. She climbed to the top of her cage (like 30ft in the air) for no reason and fell like 15ft while trying to climb down. Zookeeper was watching with us and was like, "She's fine. She does this all the time."

Fun fact: Snow leopards were initially thought to be critically endangered, but nowadays it is believed their numbers to be much higher. The combination of being almost invisible in their environment, and said environment being so inhospitable to humans made so we had a much lower number of individuals counted in the past.

I remember being a young animal loving child and seeing a program about the snow leopard and hearing that they had fat in their tail so they could survive without food for longer periods of time and thinking that they ate part of their tail. Fun times
