Your 2nd test on that SAMSUNG device is not that accurate!
After you actually registered the "fingerprint prop" to the device, the device recognising it simply tells you that it recognises the "registered fingerprint prop". We can safely say that bcz it did not recognise the fingerprint prop in the 1st place but did so only after getting registered.
To make the test more authentic take the actual fingerprint registration off the device while keeping the fingerprint prop still in the registry and try the test all over again. If the device still reads the fingerprint prop but not the actual fingerprint then that would mean that it is still doing the job it is supposed to do ie recognise what is registered.

Whilst I love the S10, getting a copy of someone's fingerprint is a lot harder than getting a pic or vid of them (eg just grab off social media)
