Do you know who else was a Texas Ranger? Jeff Boomhauer on King of the Hill. Watch the last episode where Bobby is a meat judge, in the last few moments, Boomhauer's wallet is open and you can see his badge and ID as a Ranger. I would love to see a show called "Boomhauer, Texas Ranger."
