Drawing tools I CAN'T live without - 2020

The question I get asked the most often is about the materials I use. If you’ve been watching my videos for a while, you’ll know that the first video I made went over the tools I used most often. I realised it's been over a year since I made that video and a few things have changed since then. Here is my updated tools video which details some of the new tools I’ve been using, and lets you in on the hacks I’ve perfected over the past year and a half. I hope you enjoy!

Jono's intro is so modest. "Hey I'm Jono and I do pencil drawings". Anyone who sees his work know it's much more!!!

You need to do a self-portrait of water on your face and name it “Jono Wet” lol

Got back into drawing after about 13 years. I lost a lot of confidence then I discovered your channel and absolutely inspired me to get back into it not just how good your work is and hopefully come close to replicating your quality of work, but the tips and tracks too! So just want to say thank you and what a legend! 🤜

Music is one of he most important tools when I draw. It keeps me active and prevents me from becoming bored, allowing me to draw for long periods of time.

I think this is probably my favorite video that you’ve done. It’s so much lighter and happier and your playfulness is extremely appealing.
Thank you for sharing yourself ❤️

Thanks Jono, I didn’t understand what the sandpaper mesh was until now. Compressed air - genius. Thank you for sharing your materials and tools you use.

I would have like to see some of the effects you get with the compressed air, that's a technique I haven't seen before.

Everytime I watch your videos I get the Bob Ross kind of vibe by the way you speak so calmly.

Watching from Atlanta, I have a few questions if you don't mind!
1. What is your process for shipping large scale originals? Do you build a crate, etc.
2. How many months/years does it take for you to produce enough artwork for a show? As always (without being repetitive) your work is awe-inspiring!
Thanks,

You are a wonderful inspiration. What a fine line and mark you can lay down.🧑‍🎨

Jono, maybe you should talk about dealing with frustration or mistakes in a video? Like, do you ever have a moment where you make a horrible mistake and just want to scrap the whole thing? Actually do? Or overcome the frustration?

A question, what advice could you give me to expose my art in the future? His drawings are incredible and I love his art

Love these videos, I get so much out of them! I’m also loving the humour injected in (compressed air/ model hair), Love from Canada! Never stop
