Finding Density Using Displacement

Sometimes when a problem asks you to calculate the density, you may not be given the volume of the object directly. If the object is irregularly shaped, using length x width x height eill not work. For this scenario, the problem provides an initial and final volume of water. By subtracting the volumes to calculate the volume of just the object, you can then use the volume to plug into your density equation.
