How to Survive the 70s

From KNXT Los Angeles on February 22 1978, with the beginning of the news afterwards.

Wanna see more stuff like this, in high quality, full frame rate and never any bugs or watermarks added by me? Well, if you know any early VCR owners or know where any old tapes are with old off-air recordings, send them my way! I can play Beta and VHS and will look further into other formats when I have things to play on them. I don't need money, I just need more material! Well, money is always nice but it's not the only thing I need- I'd actually rather have time right now than money. It takes a few more hours to process video to look like this, but it's certainly worth it! And if you do have money to give away give it to me, and not people who ruin the picture with their annoying logos, afraid that you're going to 'steal' their stuff but wanting you to bow down before them for what they do let you see!

Mary was getting those feet over her head, at least as high as the pro dancers, impressive.

Great casts Van Dyke/Christopher Guest/Gino Conforti, Alan Oppenheimer/Candy Azzara/B.Bixby.

Thx for sharing !! This hasn’t aired since February 1978. That’s Danielle Brisebois in the first commercial break...

Not a shabby career for someone who started out as a "Hotpoint girl".

Thanks for posting this (and LOVE that short bit of (I'm guessing) the 10 p.m. CBS news (btw, is that a young Connie Chung co-anchoring though I didn't catch this back on Wednesday, February 22, 1978, I wonder what I might have been doing that since it was my senior year in high school, which would come to a close in (seemingly) the blink of an eye, I was probably home watching some TV, doing some I would have been at my part-time job as a stock boy, at Gimbels Dept. Store, only 2 blocks from my house in little Cudahy, that, GREAT probably the best I'd ever though I didn't know it at the 🥲

What a great find! Love the music too, which appears to be by the late Jack Elliot (of Charlie's Angels theme fame). Where do people get these late 70's random early VHS recordings? I've tried to get my hands on these forever, and never got lucky.
