Hi! I tested positive for SIBO through breath test and my Dr. prescribed xifaxan. Can I do the elemental diet for 14 days while also taking the antibiotic. I have horrible horrible IBS and everything (even water) makes me extremely bloated, so I want to fully get rid of my SIBO.

I’ve not tried this diet review’s I’ve seen it helps with symptoms but as soon as you start eating regular food bacteria grows back, I guess I’ll give it at try hope for the best

For someone that has a double MTHFR gene mutation, no gallbladder and has struggled with SIBO off and on for years, would you recommend i keep taking my methylated Vit B complex supplement during the 3 week treatment? I noticed there are mentholated b vitamins in the shake but not as much as my vitamin. And any advice for keeping SIBO gone after the treatment without a gallbladder?
