SpaceX Starship Booster RECORD 31-Engine Static Fire (LIVE)

SpaceX's Starship Booster 7 lit up 31 of its 33 Raptor 2 engines for a record-breaking static fire. This was streamed live on my Local's page. According to Elon Musk, "Team turned off 1 engine just before start & 1 stopped itself, so 31 engines fired overall. But still enough engines to reach orbit!"

Elon Musk on Twitter: "Team turned off 1 engine just before start & 1 stopped itself, so 31 engines fired overall. But still enough engines to reach orbit!"

Also, for those confused, at the beginning of this clip (taken from my Locals' livestream) I was speaking out loud as I wrote the script for tomorrow's show. Obviously we all found out soon after the test that only 31 engines participated.

That was a lovely sound it made. Very clean sounding I predict it won’t blow up

Hey Kevin, just letting you know that I really appreciate your videos. I haven't been able to watch many lately as I've been really busy. But when ever I can I pop in to watch. You're my favourite spacex creator. Sending love your way! 🤪🤙🏼

Other videos say 31, 1 shutdown, no-start. 67% throttle would explain a lot! First mention of that I have heard, go SpaceXcentric!

It's almost as if SpaceX placed the countdown clock there to hide how the concrete did underneath the mount.

Nice coverage. Almost looked too easy.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen a countdown be this far off. I was watching and when it lit at the 15-16 second mark, I was amazed. You could definitely tell how powerful that thing is
