Your videos are excellent. I think you took the right decision. I like a mix of dividend growth and dividend stocks. There are some dividend stocks out there, that can do an excellent job in growing your portfolio. But you have tp be careful to buy at the right price. This is something, that can be just as important in dividend growth stocks. Best examole: AVGO in 2022 was yielding over 4%. An excellent buy at that time.

Dividend GROWTH investing is a wonderful idea, but the flaw in the system is that it assumes a never ending supply of growth and expansion! And that’s simply not going to happen with most companies! Eventually, the dividend growth will outpace the growth itself! I would argue that buying the dip on good companies with a decent dividend yield is more prudent if income is the goal. Buy low, let it run, and sell it at a profit! T & V are stocks people love to hate on, but they’ve been good to me! I was lucky in my timing, and didn’t get burned like some people, so I get it, but I think there is a place for them in a portfolio, if you get a good price!

This is what I have, ticker-shares.... JEPQ-1000, JEPI-310, SPYI-380, DIVO-50 & SPLV-10. Want to grow each one to at least 500 shares each plus 500 shares of SCHD. Also own NVDA-340 @ $115 will sell when it goes to $215 is my target price. Bought ULCC-1, 070 @ $4.32 will sell at $8.00, holding long. WBA-100, MPW-125, HR-100 & about 10 other individual stocks that I bet on years ago that haven't rebounded so just hanging on to those until I can break even and put the money into the 6 Divended ETF's in the future. 51 years old & have a military retirement plus a business that I collect money plus dividends. Should be ready to fully retire @ or before 55 years old. Trying to get to $8k a month income from all sources.

Just buy mag 7 for growth and ares capital in new york for high yield(9%+growth6.27%), vici properties for and msci for global exposure with 1%yield and 23.65% dividend growth.
