I've come to appreciate how Rollo, and Rich now as well are willing to come right out and say that guys with a clear disadvantage (being short for this guy) need to overcompensate to make up for it. So many other people would rather lie and tell men that they don't need to do this, or just beat around the bush when it comes to these things. I can appreciate that. "Short Man Syndrome" is real, so instead of trying to avoid it, just accept it and be better. I like that message.

Long ago, close to sixty years now, my mother taught me and my brother how to do what was considered at the time "woman's work".
We weren't happy having to wash dishes, do laundry, and clean house, and eventually learn to cook our meals. The reason she did this was in her own words, "So you don't have to rely on someone else to do it for you." We didn't understand it then but when we got older and were completely independent men we knew that she really meant we wouldn't have to be reliant on a woman. She knew even back then, so it is not some recent change in women. They've always been the way they are and it is up to men to weed out the bad ones and look for and cherish the good women.
