Quick video showing the Petromax Atago with the FT9 Dutch oven. We recently began investing in cast iron cookware and purchased the Atago due to its mobility to take overlanding and ability to grill, house the FT9 and become a fire pit all in one.

We are Mac & Gayle and we started overlanding in 2020 after importing our 2002 Mitsubishi Shogun Sport into Spain from the UK. As well as this channel you'll also find a stack of information on our website covering everything from Shogun/Montero ownership to overlanding in the Altiplano de Granada/Andalucia.

Come and say hi and don't forget to give us a thumbs up and subscribe!

Nice video.
One small advice, try to sear your meat in a few small portions. This way the DO wont cool down as much by the low temp of the meat and you get more colour on your meat. Now the meat looks a bit cooked instead of seared.

I'm not sure you know this is a knockoff of a product called a Volcano Grill Collapsable... that costs less and has a patent. They stole the design and cannot sell them to certain countries. Also the Volcano Grill has the option of not just wood and coal but a gas insert... and again it cost less. This company seems dirty to me.
The Dutch oven looked good.
