Looks like the game I was trying to convert wasn't compatible... I still wanted to thank you for taking the time to make this video, better that I find out after watching and following along with half a video then spend hours looking around forums for help lol. i love your work and process Billy but one complaint I have not just for you but many Youtubers; the tiny size of Windows Explorer folders and files due to not zooming in on the important bits. Waving your cursor around isn't making anything clearer or telling me what the name of the files are, their size or much of anything. The links you put up are busted just one year later and because I can't see the name of the files or folders I have little information to search on.
I know it can be done (zooming in) because I have seen it on other videos. So if you are still active, I hope you are editing your raw videos and zooming in when its required allowing viewers to see in virtual big fonts, what you are talking about.
Other than that, I find your vids complete and explicit. Keep up the good work!

ATTENTION: INSTALL HAN SOFT-MOD EXPLOIT AND DUMP YOUR CONSOLE IDPS BEFORE STARTING THE WORK!!!

Tried with PS3 superslim OFW with HAN soft-mod.

If you still have PS3 OFW version and wanted to install the game with PKG sideloading, install and activate HAN soft-mod first.

Note that not all games work with this sideloading approach. You might consider backup injection or just find the PSN version and "cook" it before sideloading it. Else, just get the jailbroken console.

If the game file is over 4GB, should consider to use PKG Linker to transfer the game over the LAN cable.

but what do we do if there was patch data? converting twisted metal downloaded 5 .pkg patch files into the patch folder, this was during the step of dragging ps3 game folder to cfw2ofw

So this is for games that I can't get digitally? I have PKGi but I really wanna install Need for Speed Pro Street. Problem is the game was disc-only at the time. It was never added to the PS Store in any region. So I would have to do this to get the game?

I have a superslim ps3 4.85 hfw ... I followed the steps fromthe video.. Downloaded a game in folder format(motogp) and it is compatible i saw the cfw2ofw list. When i copied the ps3game folder to cfw2ofw command prompt it started working but while making npdata it failed always.. Why this is happening.

How do you back up games that you've already installed on the hard drive? I've had a game disc that broke.. I got the PKG file from the internet the game installed and I updated it. It took me hours and hours to download, install and update the game. How do I now back up what I've installed again as a PKG file or ISO or whatever would be best to back this up on an external drive and then reinstall it later / on another PS3 system? P.s. I know I'm need the RAP file for my game but I'm fairly sure I've found a 13000 rap list file and I know how to install raps as RIFs in Apolo save tool or just store them on an usb/exdata folder.

I've installed everything, I installed gre, patch, license. I set the greylaw on and the black screen does not respond to anything, I have to reset the consoles with a button. What I broke down?

Not sure if you are still watching these comments or doing this, but I am trying to use the CFW20FW helper and it keeps telling me TITLE, APP_VER and CATEGORY entries are missing, how do I fix this? I have tried an SFO editor and it says they are there.
