Pat Robertson Diamond Mine Revealed | Scummy Details

"The bulk of the thousands of doctors and nurses struggling to save lives -- as about 40,000 people died of cholera -- were volunteers for the international medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). The Bible readers were hired by the American televangelist and former religious right presidential candidate, Pat Robertson, and his aid organisation, Operation Blessing International.

But on Robertson's US television station, the Christian Broadcasting Network, that reality was reversed, as he raised millions of dollars from loyal followers by claiming Operation Blessing was at the forefront of the international response to the biggest refugee crisis of the decade. It's a claim he continues to make, even though an official investigation into Robertson's operation in Virginia accused him of "fraudulent and deceptive" claims when he was running an almost non-existent aid operation."* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur and Eboni K Williams break it down.

So sad how often those who place themselves on the highest pedestals of morality are far to often the most immoral.

I guess Pat forgot that greed is a sin! This must be where the term "Blood Diamonds" comes from cause these 500K Rwandans essentially paid for them w/ their lives. SMH

Its times like these I almost wish Hell was a real place, because if it was, I feel like there would be a special place reserved there for Pat.

Robertson's indifference to the lives of Tutsi genocide victims is hardly surprising, considering his close friendship with Zaire's ex-dictator Mobutu Sese Seko and Liberia's psychotic warlord Charles Taylor.

As a Christian I wrote a web page article about this, but essentially no
one was interested, so a couple years ago I took it down.. Robertson
used 700 Club money to buy expensive cargo planes, not helicopters, to
haul (mostly) mining equipment.

He's an old decrepit man, there is no possible way that he, of all people, could do that.
