The entire book of Exodus revolves around a miraculous journey of deliverance. God's redemptive work of saving the lives of people comes into full view throughout the story. Moses records how he, himself, was the recipient of the miraculous as God supernaturally provided guidance and direction to the man He had established as leadership over His people.
God's judgement against the adversaries of His people is seen in the plagues of Exodus. He controls the elements of nature in supernatural ways to deomonstrate to the Israelites and the Egyptians His provision, protection, and punishment.
The miracle gift of the Ten Commandments is another example the Heavenly Father's desire to provide for and protect His children. God can use a burning bush to speak to us or part the Red Sea to open a door of opportunity. The Almighty consistently proves His power and willingness to care for believers as they commit themselves to obey His directions for their daily lives.
