How to Make Collage Paper - PART 2 - Art Tutorial

I use these papers in my mixed media abstract paintings, art journal pages, and even as framed artwork by itself.

Materials used in Part 1: acrylic paint, Catalyst wedge.
In part 2, I use a Gelli Plate, paper, tissue paper, and a brayer to spread the paint.

Thx 4 this. have had a plate for 5 years. forget to use it for long stretches and good to be reminded of the fun it is. i am now into 365 collage challenge and past prints have been invaluable. u mention random at some stage. i think that seems to be the best bits of what i achieve in this game altogether! always enjoy your wry observations on what failures u do. so much better than all the torment some folks seem to go thru. Love your tutorials! Can you tell me where you get the tissue paper that you use on your gelli plate? I have tried several kinds & have issues with it tearing. Maybe its because I don't use Golden Open paints either...

Loving your videos, I’m binge watching lol. One note: when you show us the print, it’d help if you could stay maybe a second or two longer in frame bc I have to keep rewinding and then pause to get a decent shot at the print. I’m really liking your masking technique. I have some tyvek envelopes I need to recycle and I’m gonna cut them up while watching more of your work 😂
