Doesn't the nature of Jesus Change by gospel? In Mark he is very much a dude, put upon and abandoned by god. By Luke, he is a full-on superhero. Knows the plan and is eager to get it done.

The good thing is, people who disagree can point to their gospel of choice and be right.

It's not necessary to denounce a brother in Christ over this. There is no way that any of us are going to fully understand the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Bob is not saying that Jesus is not Immanuel. He is saying that as the Son of Man he set aside His glory to carry out the mission of being the Lamb of God. There's not one person capable of fully understanding how Christ accomplished this. We can offer an opinion based on our reading of scripture but let's not go further and begin to condemn and judge one another.

Our job is to lead people to Christ. We wont have all the answers that we want always but the bigger picture is theres people out there that are damned to go to hell and we need to focus on helping them

Philippians 2:6 addresses Jesus being God. Also it’s dangerous in the NLT…the KJV (which I believe to be the inerrant word of GOD) for Philippians 2:7 states “but he made himself of no reputation, meaning he humbled himself as God and did not announce himself as God…very dangerous doctrines with these translations that are on man’s wisdom as opposed to the inerrant word of GOD…LORD help us all in Jesus mighty name, amen…too many snake books around

He said in one of his sermons that we will need money in heaven. I was done with him then. The sermon was something about money or tithing if you want to look it up.
