Could you imagine the DVD being the first format you ever watch this movie on? Just thinking about it makes me want to cry.

Looks like the biggest difference is more teal in the grade. Definitely some more detail too but not as much as I expected.

It seems regular Blu-ray is still the best format

That's the kind of 4k upgrade we want to see in all films. Nice.

For those of you concerned about the teal tint like I was, I just double checked the same frames on my TV and the teal tint is NOT there thankfully (at least in my tv). I think this guys tv mode or settings must’ve been off for this particular video or something.

So they made the 4K edition WORSE. They painted everything Matrix-green.

This comparison seems to have a cyan filter over it for the 4k that others don't.

In the reality SDR and HDR of the movie is almost identical. In additon: maybe your Canon monitor even can't force to watch SDR version at the peak brightness of the monitor in HDR mode, so verify it with light meter :)))
I wouldn't be surprised that your monitor won't be able to interpolate 8 bit to 10 bit color depth :)))
It's very laughable that even so "premium" brands like to con people into believing that they discover something amazing in HDR viewing on their monitors.
Yes, Canon is better than an ordinary TV but it doesn't make miracles.

extra detail +1, a bit too much green/saturation -1 :/

The alleged HDR 4K version literally only peaks maybe 400 nits maximum, perhaps not even that bright.

Is there a difference between the Warner release vs the Sony distribution?, just the initial logos right?, everything is the same...

Nevertheless, 2k and 4k are nowhere near as different as SD from 2k or just HD ready. 4k is just a minor upgrade to 2k. I remember watching my first bluray on a HD ready screen and it blew me away. But 4k just didn't wow me.

DCEU is the DC Extended Universe, or in this case, the current DC Comic Book films, ie. "MAN of STEEL", "Wonder Woman", "Batman v Superman", etc.
