With so many changes affecting a Walt Disney World vacation due to the covid-19 pandemic, I thought it might be useful to cover some of the reasons for and against staying on site. I'll be covering Transportation (monorail, sky-liner, bus, ferry boat etc), Disney Park Pass reservation system, Extra Magic Hours, 60 day FastPass+, Disney Dining Plan, The Grand Floridian, The Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village Resort, Art of Animation and Caribbean Beach Resort.

Will you please make an updated video on this subject with the introduction of genie+ and the loss of the magical express? As a first timer, I’m not sure if it’s worth staying on site!

STAYING OFFSITE at a 2 bedroom villa is #1 choice if you like your kids having their OWN ROOM and getting the most awesome night's sleep! We love staying 10 min away and our bedroom even has a hot tub in it. no regrets. (120 a night is worth it!)

The costs in the video show just how frugal I am. Paid £23 per night to stay at the Maingate Lakeside Resort near Animal Kingdom and couldn't fault it. It had a Universal and Disney bus included too. Thank you for another great video, looking forward to the next!

great video again. As good as the onsite hotels look and themeing on point, id still rather stay off site personally, just for the reason of being surrounded by more things to do food and entertainment wise, as appose to being limited to just eating at disney or within the resort your staying in. Plus its nice to get out of that disney/universal bubble even for a day or 2 by staying off site, doing other things :)

We tend to rent a short term vacation rental home...SO MUCH SPACE AND CONVENIENCE for less than $150/ night

Personally I’d rather stay at the Wyndham Disney Springs. It’s right across the street from Disney springs and you get your 60 day fastpasses.

Very reasonably priced too and the pool area is as nice as any on property

Stay at the swan dolphin, get all the benefits, including proximity, but pay about $200 a night
