This is just way too weird, wtf does all that crap have to do with an Olympian event, where the best of the best compete to be the best in the world. Where in hades does this fit in with a well-adjusted society?? The world is twisted and warped. This is not a conspiracy theory when someone has his scrotum out dancing in front of kids, that is a breakdown in society. This is just pandering to mental illness, and wildly inappropriate. There was no honour, no respect, no beauty nor decency being shown in this Olympic opening. It was childish and ugly. The only lovely thing was to hear Celine Dion sing right at the end.

What shocked me most about the opening ceremony was the depiction of headless women.
I know that the French have a right and a reason to be proud of their revolution but decapitating people has nothing to do with Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
What is worse is that it seemed to represent their queen, Marie Antoinette.
The problem with that is that we know that she was not queen of France by choice; had very little say in the creation of the problems that led to the revolution and was the victim of a sham trial. I believe that we know:
1. That the verdict and the sentence was determined by politicians before her trial.
2. That her lawyer’s reasonable request for time to prepare was rejected.
3. That her charge sheet included an outrageous trumped up charge of the sexual molestation of her son. For seemingly no other reason, but to cause her more distress.
Add to that Marie Antoinette suffered deliberate cruelty before her execution and was far from the glamorous depiction in the ceremony.
I just think it is sad that a country care so little for a clear, cruel injustice that they celebrate what they should be a little embarrassed about.
