CDK (Cloud Development Kit) is becoming one of the BIGGEST and post popular ways that you can write your Infrastructure-as-code with a general-purpose programming language.

Truth be told, some developers don't want to use a configuration language like HCL, JSON, or YAML. They are much more comfortable with a language they already know, like Python or JavaScript.

A CDK allows developers (and infrastructure pros) to create infrastructure-as-code with a language that they love working with.
