i’ve always felt like chance‘s music was at its best when he was being introspective about some time in his life. i’ve been hoping and waiting that there would be music that reflected some of his introspection of the past four years. i’ve been a huge fan since acid rap, and while i wasn’t a fan of the big day, or the fallout afterwards, i’ve always remained hopeful for some music that showed chance’s strengths again. this is the first song in some time that i’ve really felt exemplified who i’ve always seen him as as an artist, and i can’t wait for more. thank you chance!
