Hurricanes Explained

Hurricanes are the most powerful storms on the planet, spanning hundreds of miles. We know them for the destruction they cause when they reach land. Their high winds, heavy rains, and storm surges cause billions of dollars in damage each year. But the effects of hurricanes aren’t limited to landfall. They have an outsized impact on the ocean, as well.

The title of this video obvious. THAT'S THEIR FUEL! Warm ocean water. But you also need weak upper level winds so nothing is working against their formation.

The strength of the Hurricanes has increased very little (but some) with increasing SST (see James B. Elsner, Florida). At the same time it is very difficult to say that the number of hurricanes has increased, because of the statistical nature of their occurrence. (Roger Pielke jr, ) . The damages have increased due to more dense population at the shores of as example Florida, but that is not climate. Don't forget the Galveston tragedy year 1900 with 5000 casualties. But still, physical countermeasures (Building codes and similar) are still highly motivated due to the high risk, independent of if the have increased or not. More research is always needed. Hurricanes are a higher threat to low lying shore housing than sea level rise, compare hurricane Sandy's damages on New York. I say: Keep Cool And Carry On.

- We live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago -

I have an explanation regarding the cause of the climate change and global warming, it is the travel of the universe to the deep past since May 10, 2010.

Each day starting May 10, 2010 takes us 1000 years to the past of the universe.
Today May 27, 2024 the position of our universe is the same as it was 5 million and 131 thousand years ago.

On october 13, 2026 the position of our universe will be at the point 6 million years in the past.
On june 04, 2051 the position of our universe will be at the point 15 million years in the past.
On june 28, 2092 the position of our universe will be at the point 30 million years in the past.
On april 02, 2147 the position of our universe will be at the point 50 million years in the past.

The result is that the universe is heading back to the point where it started and today we live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago.

Like a bed wetter who can't help themself and make it through the night, the video narrator had to include an evidence-free claim that climate change brings more destructive hurricanes.
