I got lucky. I purchased a heavy first edition fossil booster pack from a eBay seller, and did end up opening it. Luckily, it WAS NOT resealed and did have a nice Raichu holo…

Red flags are poor photos, poor seller feedback or none at all… always ask for more pictures or video if you’re not 100% sure. Most people don’t get the opportunity to buy in person and these days ebay is one of the only ways online. Still lots of legit sellers out there 👌🏻

He was right when he said the time for playing games was over. We need to make the market a place where you’re better off selling a legitimate pack because you never know when a content creator or prominent figure will buy from you and figure it out, ultimately ruining your career. Sad it has to come to this but if this will motivate more people to be legitimate then good

The problem is alot of people save for a long time and then buy a vintage $400-$500 pack to keep sealed. So, they never know ever unless they try to open it that it is resealed or not and by them time it reaches to someone who does open it, it has gone through 5-6 different hands which makes it difficult to point at which stage the scam happened.

thats why honestly i would just buy sealed display at release or graded boosters to not have these kind of problems...

Too many scummy sellers nowadays. A good chunk of my purchases from Ebay had reseal packs.

People who go out of their way to scam others by resealing or weighing packs (unless the weight of the pack is specified) makes me so furious. Why can’t people just be honest. 😡😡

I only buy new cards from retailers for that reason. If there's tampering it's from the factory or a return which you would know if it was a return
