LEGO Electric Skateboard #1 | James Bruton

I decided I'd quite like an electric skateboard, but I also really like LEGO - so I made a giant LEGO electric Skateboard from 3D printed bricks and the 80s LEGO electric motor. You'll have to wait for part 2 of the series to see the Giant LEGO Electric Skateboard working.

① GENIUS

No MacArthur grant yet. But while I’m still waiting by the phone for that call, maybe you might patronise me with your Patreon-age. Or, if you’re all out of digital cash just comment on one of my hilarious Instagram pics, pop me a Tweet or generally yell in my direction.

② XROBOTS

Former toy designer, current YouTube maker and general robotics, electrical and mechanical engineer, I’m a fan of doing it yourself and innovation by trial and error. My channel is where I share some of my useful and not-so-useful inventions, designs and maker advice. Iron Man is my go-to cosplay, and 3D printing can solve most issues - broken bolts, missing parts, world hunger, you name it.

XRobots is the community around my content where you can get in touch, share tips and advice, and more build FAQs, schematics and designs are also available.

③ MUSIC AND SFX

After you test it out, you should send it to Braille Skateboarding!!! I love both of your channels!

Was expecting clickbait. Was pleasantly surprised!

more short projects such as this really help with the fatigue that comes with following other, quite long, series you make. its very satisfying to see so much progress on something.

James I follow your robotics series and I love those videos, but I must say this video is really fantastic all on its own. One of your best in my opinion

I'm so psyched about this project! I can't wait to more videos. You should make a lego housing for your controller.

I didn't think I would like this one, but after realizing you 3D printed giant legos ... I can't wait for the next one!
